Although we prefer to work from digital files we also can transcribe from VHS tapes and DVDs.  The digital audio can be stripped off into a separate file if required and can be converted to other audio formats.  If necessary we can perform digital audio processing on the file to try and improve the quality of the audio.  We can convert between video formats if necessary.  We normally transcribe directly from the video files allowing for timestamping etc.
